Data Deletion Request
You have the right to request the deletion of your personal data held by Echoprice. This page explains what data we hold, what deletion means, and how to submit your request.
What data we hold
When you use Echoprice, we may store the following data associated with your account:
- Your WhatsApp phone number and display name
- Your business name, owner name, and trade profile
- Email address (if provided during portal registration)
- Business logo (if uploaded)
- Banking details entered in the portal (for your own reference on quotes)
- Quote history and conversation records used to generate your PDFs
- Billing records (credit balance, purchase history)
What deletion means
A confirmed deletion request will permanently remove your account and all associated personal data from Echoprice’s systems, including your trade profile, quote history, and uploaded files. This action cannot be undone.
We may retain minimal records where required by South African law (for example, transaction records for tax compliance purposes), but these will be held only for the legally required period and will not be used for any operational purpose.
We will process confirmed deletion requests within 30 days and send a confirmation to the email address associated with your account.
